What are we?
The Ontario Early Years Centre is a place for parents and caregivers of children up to the age of six, to find information they need about services designed to support the development of young children.
What are our hours?
Monday: Closed Tuesday: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm Wednesday: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm Thursday: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm Friday: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm Saturday: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Please be advised that the Toy Lending Library Hours are the same as above.
What do we offer?
The Ontario Early Years Centre offers the services listed below, all of which are free to parents and caregivers of young children.
*Early learning literacy programs for children and their parents
*Programs to support parents and caregivers in all aspects of early child devlopment
*Information on preganacy and parenting
*Outreach activities to ensure al parents can become involved with a nearby Early Years Centre

Childcare Registry
Offered on-line, this registry offers parents various options for finding childcare. A list of private home day care providors and licensed Child Care Centres provides easy access to available childcare. Information and workshops are available to assist parents in making a suitable choice for their family's needs. Parents and caregivers may call the Early Years Centre for general information while in the process of choosing or providing child care. Effective May 15, 2009, we will charge caregivers $25.00 each year to have their childcare information appear on our Child Care Registry. You may still submit your application on-line however it will not be posted until payment is received.
Payments should be made by cash or cheque (payable to Guelph Community Health Centre or Guelph CHC for short) to our downtown location (Ontario Early Years Centre @ 176 Wyndham Street North).

Toy Lending Library Membership
This Membership allows you to borrow items from our Toy Library! It is a simple alternative to
the high price of toys and it's a wonderful way to spend quality time
with your children. We have an excellent selection of safe and educational
items from rattles to board games. This membership is available
for only $25.00 per year. This entitles you to borrow 4 items for a loan period of three weeks. Why not borrow cassette books for your child as a great t.v. alternative?
The Quality Child Care Initiative
